WHAT IS ROWING STAR?
This program is designed for kids who are new to rowing. They’ll learn the basics, meet other kids their age, build confidence, and get a real feel for the sport in a safe and supportive environment. After 4 weeks, they’ll know if rowing is something they want to continue.

WHY YOUR KID WILL LOVE IT
This program is about much more than just rowing. It’s about teamwork, confidence, friendship, and trying something exciting and new.

There are few things more exciting than learning to row on the water during the summer.

Kids train together, learn together, and take part in fun events that make it easy to connect with others.

The sessions are structured, safe, and beginner-friendly, while still feeling like an adventure.
WHY ROWING?
Rowing is one of the best sports for kids. It builds fitness, discipline, teamwork, confidence, and focus, all while being fun and low-impact.

Rowing gets your kid away from screens and out on the water in a positive, active environment.

Rowing is a full-body sport that builds strength and endurance while being relatively low-risk for injuries.

In rowing, everyone in the boat must work together. Kids learn communication, responsibility, and how to be part of a team.

Rowing trains both strength and endurance at once, making it one of the best exercises for teens to get into.

HERE’S THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE
This beginner program helps students go from complete beginner to confident novice in just 4 weeks, with expert coaching, a supportive group, and a fun summer environment.

We’ll begin on land with boathouse basics, safety, equipment handling, and rowing technique on the rowing machine. Then students will take their first strokes on the water in beginner-friendly boats.

Students will continue learning the rowing stroke, basic commands, boat handling, and how to row together with their crew.

This week focuses on teamwork, rhythm, confidence, and learning how to move together as a boat.

Students will bring everything together, refine their skills, try a fun mini race, and celebrate their progress. We’ll also share next steps for anyone who wants to keep rowing.
